HaadThip Announces Q3 Results: Sales Up 9%, Driven by Tourism Recovery Expects Government Stimulus to Boost Spending Ahead of Q4 High Season
Bangkok, 14 November 2025 — HaadThip Public Company Limited (HTC) announced its operating results for the third quarter of 2025. The Company recorded sales revenue of 2.04 billion baht, an increase of 9% compared to the same period last year. Consumer purchasing power improved slightly due to increased tourism income, although overall recovery remains soft. The Company has implemented sales promotion plans and enhanced market execution efficiency, enabling it to maintain market share and strengthen competitiveness. For the fourth quarter, HTC anticipates that the government’s economic stimulus measures, especially those targeting consumption and tourism during the high season, will help drive continued growth for both the Southern economy and the Company’s sales.
HaadThip Public Company Limited (HTC), the manufacturer and distributor of Coca-Cola beverages across 14 Southern provinces of Thailand, reported third-quarter results for 2025, with sales revenue totaling 2.04 billion baht, up 9% compared to the same period last year. According to the Bank of Thailand Southern Region Office, the Southern economy in Q3 2025 grew slightly from the previous quarter - by around 1% - driven by a modest expansion in private consumption supported by a 4.3% quarter-on-quarter increase in domestic and international tourists. Meanwhile, agricultural income from key products - durian, palm oil, and rubber - declined by around 7% from the previous quarter, resulting in a still soft recovery in overall purchasing power.
In response, the Company adjusted its business strategies accordingly. Due to lower raw material costs compared to last year and improved production efficiency - particularly in packaging, which reduced material usage - the Company successfully controlled the manufacturing costs, achieving a gross profit of 872 million baht, or approximately 42.7%, an increase of 2.2 percentage points year-on-year. The Company continued its marketing and sales promotion efforts, resulting in total SG&A expenses of 735.3 million baht, up 19.6% from the same period last year. Consequently, HTC posted a net profit of 131 million baht for the quarter, an increase of 1.3% year-on-year.
Major General Patchara Rattakul, Chief Executive Officer, commented on current business conditions:
“We must acknowledge that although Q3 showed some improvement due to tourism beginning to recover from the previous quarter, overall purchasing power remains quite soft. Our cost management was a key factor in mitigating the impact on our business. Our strong brands and consumer-focused promotional campaigns - especially the Coca-Cola glass giveaway - helped drive solid sales despite the challenging economic climate. We are hopeful that in Q4, which marks the tourism high season, combined with government measures to stimulate private consumption, purchasing power will continue to strengthen quarter-on-quarter. Nonetheless, we must continue to work hard to ensure we consistently meet consumer needs.”
According to Nielsen (Thailand), the overall non-alcoholic ready-to-drink (NARTD) beverage market in Southern Thailand grew 0.2% in the first nine months of 2025 compared to the same period last year. Drinking water grew 4.4%, while sparkling soft drinks and ready-to-drink juices declined 3.1% and 5.5%, respectively. HTC remains the market leader in non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages, with a market value share of 23.5%, and holds the No. 1 position in sparkling soft drinks in Southern Thailand with a 78.3% market share.
